Behind-the-scenes I Cinderella

We’re excited to take you behind-the-scenes into rehearsals for Premier State Ballet’s full-length production, Cinderella. Our Artistic Director, Josh Consandine, caught up with us to talk about his take on this classic fairy tale.

Incorporating design elements of the 1940s with storytelling references to the Brothers Grimm, Cinderella will not be the typical Disney tale that audiences are used to. Consandine notes darker elements of the story, and audiences can expect elaborate dance scenes, costume changes, design elements and more to bring the story to life.

Cinderella will be presented at Riverside Theatres from 28-29 September 2018. Tickets on sale now. Catch up on our interview with Josh below.
