Between Art and Quarantine

In recent weeks you may have seen images circulating social media with people recreating famous artworks.

This was in response to a challenge (#betweenartandquarantine) made by the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, who are of many art cultural institutions closed due to COVID-19. The challenge inspired a global response, with people in quarantine posting artwork re-creations using household objects.

Inspired by the challenge, we asked our Year 7 Art students to get creative at home – and the response was fantastic. Thanks to Ms Douglas for setting the challenge and getting the students involved.
