Sarah Minol (formerly Sarah Letters) began her training with Patricia Saills before moving to The McDonald College in 1992. From 1992-1997 Sarah studied under the care of Josephine Jason and Allan Cross at The McDonald College and was a member of the Premier State Ballet Youth Company touring in performances such as The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.
In 1998, Sarah Minol was accepted into The Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. Whilst studying at this school she toured with the Dancers Company around Australia (2000) performing in works such as The Red Shoes and Coppélia.
Whilst studying at The Australian Ballet School, Sarah was selected to take part in the Adeline Genee awards in London 1998/1999. She was selected as one of eight finalists and performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London.
She graduated from the Australian Ballet School in 2000 and in 2001 she was offered a scholarship to attend The Australian College of Physical Education and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Dance Education. Whilst studying Sarah also completed her Royal Academy of Dance Teachers certificate with Distinction.
Sarah is currently working as a Dance Teacher at a Senior College in Sydney teaching HSC Dance, PDHPE and Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation. Currently, Sarah teaches Grade 2 and 3 RAD Classical Ballet at The McDonald College and is passionate about classical ballet and teaching. She strives to work hard with her students to motivate, encourage and help them achieve the best results for them technically and artistically. She is also committed to creating and choreographing solos and Eisteddfod groups for the college students, as well as instilling a passion for dance in the children who attend her classes.
