Junior School writing anthology
Congratulations to Tigerlily (Year 6) for having her work published in an anthology by Better Read Than Dead bookshop in Newtown.
Her piece, Apples & Cinnamon, received second place and is amongst the many wonderful entries from Winter Stories: An Anthology of Writing by Better Read Kids, including other students from our Junior School Writing Elective.
An avid reader, Tigerlily was also lucky enough to meet Australian Prime Minister’s Literary award-winning children’s author, Frances Watts, who was also one of the judges (pictured below). The anthology is now available for purchase from their Newtown store.
