Acting Stream’s Student Led Productions

Our Acting Stream is proud to present three incredible student-led productions on the 28th and 29th of November! Forks and Fishes, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Bottoms.

Fishes and Forks: Set entirely within the confines of the Berzatto family household, Fishes and Forks is a wonderfully touching reflection and meditation on the importance of tradition; how the value of face-to-face dinner table pastime isn’t about sustenance or simply fulfilling hunger, but expressing the love we share for those close to us. In such times of isolation and uncertainty, Fishes and Forks is a sharp, stark reminder of how blood runs thicker than water. May God bless us and keep us safe in the new year.

Bottoms: Bottoms is a satirical high school comedy, following two losers trying to make their last year of school the best ever. They start a fight club under the false pretence that they went to juvie to try and date their shared crush. Bottoms is heavily satirical, absurd and vulgar, and while it is hilarious and ludicrous, it explores deeper themes such as queer empowerment, violence against women, relationships and growing up.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a mind-bending love story where a heartbroken man undergoes a procedure to erase memories of his ex-girlfriend, only to discover he still deeply loves her as their memories fade. Blending romance, science fiction, and dark comedy, this play is an unforgettable exploration of love, loss, and the power of memory. In the words of Pope Alexander… I mean… Alexander Pope “How happy is the blameless vestals lot? The world forgetting by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. Each prayer accepted and each wish resigned.”
