Vocational Education & Training (VET) courses for the HSC
Years 10 – 12 students can accumulate units towards their HSC by choosing to complete a TAFE-delivered Vocational Education & Training (TVET) course or a distance education course.
We can organise and support students in their pursuit of off-campus learning.
Courses chosen by our students in the past have included Digital Media, Film and Television, and Event Management, Hospitality, Animal Studies and Retail Services. The list of recognised courses means your choices are extensive.
These courses provide students with a practical hands-on style of learning, allowing them to achieve success in their chosen area while providing them with real-world experience and work-ready qualifications.
Students attend TAFE on a Tuesday afternoon 1 – 4pm, travelling by train to either Ultimo, Meadowbank or North Sydney. Alternatively, they might be able undertake the course remotely.
