A stellar tennis performance
Term 3 has been a remarkable period for the Voyager Team. We kicked off with Suri Suchovski and Ethan Domingo journeying to Europe, showcasing their skills against some of the world’s top players in their age bracket.
We were honoured to have Scott Draper, the head of Tennis Australia High Performance coach development, spend a day with us at the Academy. His visit was truly enlightening, and we’re deeply appreciative of his time. (Photo attached)
Several of our players have embarked on their ITF tour journey. Kudos to Daniel Jankoski, Kiran Krish, Minwoo Lee, Minhoon Lee, Damien Caldeira, and Sarvjot Saggu. A special shoutout to Shannon Anek Ashton Chan, who’s currently making strides in the J30 in New Zealand. Chase is also on our radar as he sets off to China next week for three ITF tournaments.
A hearty congratulations to Daniel Jankoski for clinching the title in our In-House Academy Championships Open category, besting Chase Zhao with a score of 6/4, 6/4. In the Year 7 to 9 category, Tristan McIntosh emerged victorious against Shannon Anek, securing a 7/5, 6/4 win.
Daniel Jankoski continued his winning streak by securing a significant victory at The Nepean 10K Open.
As we wrap up the term, we send our best wishes to our players participating in The Hard Court Australian Championships in Adelaide: Suri Suchovski, Ami Dalla Pozza, Ethan Domingo, Sebastian Lavorato, Tristan McIntosh, Shannon Anek, and Jason Chu. Best of luck to all!
