Ace Achievements: A Stellar Term 4 for Our Tennis Stars
As Term 4 concludes, our Tennis stream reflects on a season filled with hard-fought victories. Early in the term, our players shone at the Australian Championships in Adelaide, securing medals across various categories.
Among the notable achievements, Year 4 student Ken Dalla Pozza captained the Boys 10&U team to victory, claiming the esteemed John Whittaker Cup; Sebastian Lavorato represented our College and NSW Primary schools in Queensland, earning a silver medal after an intense 8-day competition in the Bruce Cup; Suri Suchovsky showcased her skills on the international stage, participating in the 12&U Eddie Herr and Orange Bowl competitions in Florida – to name a few of the many achievements.
In a recent highlight, our team reached the finals at the Gallipoli Youth Cup, securing a commendable second place after a challenging final match.
The dedication and progress of our tennis players are evident in their exceptional performances. Their commitment to improvement is not only seen on the court but also reflected in the outstanding results they’ve achieved.
And let’s add a resounding cheer for our exceptional boys who not only dominated the court but also clinched the Premier League Badge Men’s Championship on the last weekend of term! This triumph comes on the heels of their Div 1 Badge victory in September, proving they’re an unstoppable force! 🏅
A heartfelt salute to the phenomenal High-Performance coaches at Voyager Tennis, for nurturing our players’ talents. 🙌🌟 Your guidance has transformed youthful potential into champions, and the future gleams with even greater promise!
