Hands-On Learning Experience

Our Year 10 students recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in a hands-on surveying incursion led by experts from the Mathematics Association of NSW.

During the incursion, students were immersed in the world of surveying, learning various techniques and applying their knowledge to real-world scenarios. They ventured around the school grounds, utilizing surveying equipment to measure distances, angles, and elevations. By engaging in practical activities, students gained a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and their real-world applications.

This immersive experience not only enhanced students’ mathematical skills but also sparked their curiosity and inspired them to explore further the fascinating world of surveying.
