Move to the Beat: Our Students Shine in Dance

Term 3 flew by for our Dance students and department.

Our student-led Choreographic Evening was held on Tuesday, 3 September, in the Fraser Auditorium. Both Junior and Senior students took part in this event, along with senior students from the Sydney Contemporary Dance Stream, with dance items ranging from solo’s, duos or trios represented on the evening.  

The students who participated did an outstanding job, and we are very proud of them.  

This is an exciting time for everyone, as the Performing Art Showcases are the highlight of the year during High-Performance Season! 

Family and friends get to see all the work done in various performing art classes since the beginning of the year. 

  The students and teachers have been busy completing and polishing all dance routines for the upcoming Junior and Senior Showcases. Many different dance genres will be on show on these evenings, from Contemporary, Lyrical Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Jazz Dance. 

 We hope you enjoy seeing how far your child has come since the beginning of the year!
