Music, Memories, and Milestones

This term has been a busy one for our Music Stream, filled with exciting opportunities and performances.

We were honored to have Abbey Hammond lead the school in the National Anthem at the Remembrance Day Ceremony. Her powerful voice and dedication to music were truly inspiring. Additionally, Tom Hylkema, a talented young musician, performed a moving rendition of The Last Post on his trumpet.

In another highlight, Amelia Cortese, a promising Junior Music Stream student, showcased her vocal talents at the Open Morning, captivating prospective students and their families. Her performance was a testament to the exceptional training and support our students receive.

The term also saw our students participate in rigorous auditions for the final Showcase and the prestigious Ann McDonald Scholarships. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Francesco Di Leo, Madison-Rose Koniseti, and Daniel Billing on winning the scholarships.

To conclude the year, we presented our “One Night Only” Showcase, a variety performance that entertained and delighted the audience.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our incredible music staff: Jacqui Sherer, Marie Le Brun, Elizabeth Cooper, Joseph Littlefield, Rosy Timms, Jamie Castrisos, Damien Macchi, Erin Clare, Crystal Gu, and Ben Kiehne. Their unwavering commitment to teaching, mentoring, and inspiring our students has been invaluable.
