April: A Month of Stellar Debuts and Dominant Performances

Oscar Luo made an unforgettable debut by sweeping his first JT 125 title in both 12&U singles and doubles at Weston Creek. Meanwhile, the dynamic duo Eva Bourgeois and Ellie Zhao clinched the doubles title in the 12&U category at JT 125 Newcastle.

Ami Dalla Pozza showcased her skills by winning the singles in 14&U, while Sebastian Lavorato took home titles in both singles and doubles at the same event.

In the Australian Clay Court Championships, Ayumi Ito finished 18th in the 12&U Girls category, while Sebastian Lavorato placed 17th and also claimed the Doubles Champion title in the 12&U Boys. Edmund Libert secured 30th place. Ami Dalla Pozza achieved an impressive 6th place in the 14&U Girls, and Ethan Domingo emerged as the 2024 14&U Clay Court Australian Champion, a testament to his discipline and relentless hard work.

At the J30 ITF in Fiji, Jacob Cairncross made a stellar semi-final run in week one, and Harry Forsyth powered into the final in week two at the J30 Lautoka in Fiji. Both boys clinched their first ITF points, marking a fantastic start to their international journeys.

Peter Domingo stormed into the boys 12&U finals, while Saravjot Saggu clinched victory in the boys 16&U at the JT 125 in Blacktown.

May: Outstanding Wins and National Recognition

Harry Forsyth claimed victory in the Australia Cup (singles 18u) and the Pizzey Cup (18u teams tournament) in Hobart, earning a spot on the All-Australian team based on his performance.

The NSW PSSA State Tennis Championships saw our stars Peter Domingo and Oscar Luo representing Team CIS, winning Gold for the CIS Team and clinching Gold in the boys’ and girls’ combined championship. Peter Domingo’s exceptional performance earned him a place to represent NSW at the Bruce Cup Australian Tennis Championship Nationals in Darwin this August.

June: Remarkable Performances and Upcoming Challenges

Congratulations to Minhoon Lee, Chase Zhao, Saravjot Saggu, and Ethan Domingo for their outstanding performances at the J30 and J60 in Darwin. Special kudos to Minhoon Lee for reaching the doubles final and Chase Zhao for reaching the semifinals in both the J30 & J60.
