Two Years Running Champion

On 22 August, our students participated in the CDSSA Athletics carnival. Among many great results, on student stood out: Harry (Years 12) was nominated 18+ male age champion for a second year running! Bravo Harry for the phenomenal result! And another round of Bravos to everyone who competed. The overall results were great:

Charlize Akdagcikabb (7):

· 2nd in 400m

· 3rd in 100m

Sebastian Lavorato (7):

· 1st in 100m

· 1st in Long Jump

· 2nd in 200m

Julian Libert (7):

· 2nd in 800m

Abbey Hammond (8):

· 2nd in 800m

· 3rd in 400m

Jeffrey Dimi (8):

· 2nd in 100m

Coco Solomon (11):

· 2nd in 400m

Ruby Jacko (11):

· 2nd in High Jump

Harry Forsyth (12):

· 1st in 400m

· 1st in 800m

· 1st in 1500m

· 1st in Discus

· 2nd in 100m

· 2nd in 200m

· 2nd in Shot Put

· 3rd in Long Jump

Later in the term, towards the end of September, Harry Forsyth also achieved a spectacular result at the CIS (Combined Independent Schools) Athletics carnival at Olympic Park, finishing 1^st in the 800-metre race and 2^nd in the 400-metre race – an absolutely phenomenal result right before graduation.
