Year 7’s Unforgettable Excursion to The Great Aussie Bush Camp
On February 17th, our Year 7 students embarked on a 3-day adventure that will undoubtedly be etched in their memories for years to come—their much-anticipated excursion to The Great Aussie Bush Camp. This trip was not only a chance to explore the beauty and diversity of Australia’s natural landscapes but also an opportunity to learn, bond, and create lasting memories.
Students had the chance to explore the bush through guided walks, where they learned about the unique flora and fauna of the region. They also had to test their wall climbing skills, along with other
Team-building exercises were also a significant part of the excursion. These activities challenged the students’ problem-solving abilities, physical endurance, and teamwork. The camaraderie and support they showed for each other reflected the values of our school community.
In addition to the educational aspects, there was plenty of fun to be had. Recreational activities like capture the flag, talent shows around the campfire, and scavenger hunts added excitement and joy to the experience. The students shared stories and laughter, creating bonds and memories that will last a lifetime.
