Alum | Emma Potts
Emma Pott is an actress, dancer and model who graduated from The McDonald College in 2012.
One of her notable achievements includes her role in the film “Pimped,” where she shared the screen with Benedict Samuel, renowned for his part in the Fox series “Gotham.” The movie was honoured as the Australian feature film of the year at Monster Fest, in Melbourne and was even featured on Virgin Australia Airlines for in-flight entertainment following its release in Australian cinemas in March 2019.
In 2015 Emma was chosen as one of the six dancers selected for a two-year contract, captivating audiences at the V8 Supercar events across Australia.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Emma has graced the screen in the pilot episode of Showtime’s “I Love This For You.” Her recent roles include portraying Tracy LaPierre in “We The People” and embodying Cheryl Thomas, one of Ted Bundy’s surviving victims, in “The First Mindhunter.” Beyond her acting and dance career, Emma has modelled for events like LA Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week.
Currently, she thrives in her acting career while also travelling across the USA as an adjudicator for National Talent competitions with Starbound, a dance competition showcased on the renowned TV show “Dance Moms.”
Emma attributes much of her success to her time at The McDonald College.
