Alum | Jack Wunsch
Former student, Jack Wunsch (Class of 2014), is a multi-talented artist. While attending The McDonald College, Jack was interested in Ballet and Musical Theatre. After graduating he received his BFA in Music Theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts. He worked with Norwegian Cruise Lines in their productions of Burn The Floor and Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert. Jack toured Australia with the two-man cabaret Sugarbabies! and then went on to choreograph and perform in the subsequent production Scoundrels! He was a performing collaborator with Citizen Theatre for their shows Forgotten Places and Mara Korper, which both premiered in Melbourne.
One of the highlights of his careers was performing as Hannibal’s Guard, Satyr in the Phantom of the Opera, for Opera Australia. A few years ago, Jack moved to the United States, where he performed in Tootsy, the Musical, in Massachusetts alongside another College alumni, Ellie May (small world).
Performing Arts aside, Jack has also specialised in pilates, specifically working with dancers on building body strength, stretching and recovery. He currently lives in New York.
