Alum | Martin Mulholland

As much as we are a Performing Arts school, our students tend to follow a diverse range of careers. It is the case of Martin Mulholland, often known simply as “Marty.” Graduating in 2001, Marty has gone on to become a sound engineer and a co-host of the popular YouTube series Mighty Car Mods. Launched in 2008 alongside his friend Blair Joscelyne (known as MOOG), the show has garnered a massive following with over 3.9 million subscribers and more than 897 million views.

Marty’s expertise in sound engineering, combined with his passion for cars, has made him a key figure in the DIY car modification community. Mighty Car Mods focuses on buying, modifying, and testing cars, offering viewers a blend of entertainment and education. The show covers a wide range of vehicles, from late-model Japanese and European cars to classic Australian cars.

Throughout his career, Marty has worked on various projects in the music and audio production industry and has traveled extensively to film episodes and experience car culture worldwide, including Japan, Cuba, Germany, and the USA. Known for his down-to-earth personality and dedication to his craft, Marty has also attracted over 40,000 followers on his personal Facebook page, showcasing his influence beyond the YouTube platform.

In addition to Mighty Car Mods, Marty and MOOG host The Unicorn Circuit on their MCMtv2 YouTube channel, which keeps fans updated with automotive news and includes fan submissions. We are incredibly proud of Marty’s accomplishments and the impact he has made in the world of automotive entertainment.
