Australian actor, singer and songwriter Ben Bennett
Having undertaken lessons in singing, acting, piano, guitar and musical theatre from a young age, Ben Bennett received a scholarship to attend The McDonald College. Upon graduation, he studied Screen Acting at NIDA and dance at Sydney Dance Company.
In 2017, Ben took the lead role of Johnny in the musical Green Day’s American Idiot, which went on national tour in 2018. Ben also starred in the world premiere of Muriel’s Wedding the Musical (2017–18) with Sydney Theatre Company in the lead role of Brice Nobes.
Ben made his feature film debut in Emo the Musical (2016), which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival as well as being selected to screen at the Berlin International Film Festival.
On television, Ben has appeared on Home and Away as Tyson, Pyramid and made it to the top-six of Team Delta in The Voice Australia. He also plays the role of Wil in the Australian comedy kids’ television program Random and Whacky .
Ben is an active member of the music scene in Australia and is currently working on his debut album.
